SET LIST

Our set list usually consists of 1 x 60 mins, 2 x 45 min or 3 x 30 min sets; however we are very flexible with timings and can accommodate most requirements, with 1 hour slots or a straight 90 minutes. We have over 5 hours worth of material and can perform accordingly. So you get value for money our set times usually run over if time permits.

SONG CHOICES

We perform a wide range of music to suit all ages with music ranging from Doris Day to The Killers and can also add our own material into the set if requested.

Our repertoire consists of specific songs that are tailored to suit your event and all guests on the day, so we do encourage you to leave the running order and the majority choice of songs at our discretion. Since every event is different; through experience we usually choose our songs on the day depending on the audience.

If there are any particular songs you would prefer us to put in the set we can certainly make sure they are in there and likewise if there are any songs you would prefer us to leave out we can accommodate this. Depending on our performance time we advise clients to choose approximately 10 songs off the set list and leave the rest to us.

MAKE IT PERSONAL

To add a personal touch we are more than happy to learn a special song for your wedding or event. We can learn a specific song; whether this is for your first dance, company trade song or a special song for your guest of honour. To accommodate this request we would need plenty of notice prior to your event to allow us time to learn and rehearse the song in a live setting. Song suggestions are always welcome.

If you don’t have a DJ booked, to keep your guests entertained we can also provide an additional personalised DJ service. If you wish you can provide us with your own personalised playlist with recorded songs you wish to be included.

  • Wedding Entertainment

“The videos of these guys really don’t do them justice. If we could capture the magic and memories they created on our wedding day for all to see they would be booked everyday for the next ten years. We booked them for our wedding breakfast and evening entertainment and could not have asked for a better band. Absolutely perfect. If you are looking for entertainment that will keep your guests talking then don’t hesitate to book these guys. They go out of their way for even the strangest requests and get everyone involved in such a fun and relaxing way. I never thought I’d see my Great Grandma rocking a cow bell. Don’t look around for a better band because you won’t find one, we are just looking for another excuse to book a party so we can have them back”

We booked them for 1 acoustic set, however due to the fact our DJ had not turned up they immediately came to the rescue. “We were truly blown away by how fantastic you were in helping to make our day perfect. We knew from the first instant we saw you that you were just what we were looking for. Laid back but funky and fun! Perfect! The comments from our guests gave us such a buzz as well knowing that they thought the same as us. So many people, young and old made a point of telling us that they thought you were something special, especially sharing your instruments and getting them to join in. You were a big part of our special day. Thank you again and we can’t wait to see you again x”

  • Christening

“We booked The Ragtag Misfits to entertain guests at our daughter’s Christening party during the summer. We were looking for something different to the usual “disco dj” and also needed to keep both adults and children happy. This eclectic duo brought an almost “festival vibe” to the party and were truly amazing, playing recognisable tunes in their own (I guess you could call it “bohemian”) Rag Tag style. What’s more, they provided a guitar case full of percussion instruments so the little ones could join in, such a wonderful touch. It got too hot on the day of the party and the Rag Tag Misfits moved outdoors for the last hour, something a DJ wouldn’t have been able to do so easily with all the setting up needed. Helly and Andy are professional, reliable and friendly as well as fabulous entertainers. Thank you so much – everyone loved you”

  • Festival

“The Rag Tag Misfits have been enthralling the crowds at Manor Farm Music Festival since it’s birth. Expect an all inclusive gathering of foot tapping, home spun frock songs with heart warming lyrics on life as it is. Echoes of social justice and solidarity unite familiar ‘sing along’ covers with the Rag Tags signature bongo/ harmonica grooves to create a ‘feel good’ easy going festival vibe that has brought these guys back year after year”
